Akorbi Wins Mayor’s Award

Last Friday, March 16, 2007, Akorbi was the recipient of the Mayor’s Award, a recognition given by the City of Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Business Assistance Center for the true entrepreneurial and community spirit exhibited by an outstanding business owner.

Akorbi and its CEO, Claudia Mirza, were selected from a group of ten finalists in the entrepreneur category. The award was presented at the Fort Worth Convention Center in front of 1,700 guests, with sponsors such as Lockheed Martin and Chase Bank.
