Akorbi wins Mayor’s Award

Last Friday, March 16, 2007, Akorbi was the recipient of the Mayor’s Award, a recognition given by the City of Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Business Assistance Center for the true entrepreneurial and community spirit exhibited by an outstanding business owner.

Akorbi and its CEO, Claudia Mirza, were selected from a group of ten finalists in the entrepreneur category. The award was presented at the Fort Worth Convention Center in front of 1,700 guests, with sponsors such as Lockheed Martin and Chase Bank.

Akorbi has been on the move in the Minority/Woman-Owned business scene. In the last three years, the company has grown to be one of the most respected translation firms in the United States thanks to strong client relationships with top Fortune 500 companies.

We at Akorbi are proud to be the recipient of this award and believe this could not have been accomplished without your and our team members’ dedicated support.
