Right now, COVID-19 is impacting different states and countries in numerous ways, and the changes seem to be happening by the hour. Our interpretation group continues to service some of the largest healthcare organizations in the US. During this time, the team has worked to maintain business continuity while adjusting to any of these partners’ new regulations, guidelines and restrictions. This includes consulting and accommodating when a shift is needed from on-site appointments to a phone or video platform. We will continue to work with all of our clients to keep the health and safety of all involved as a top priority.
We are offering a free webinar training series for our interpreters to refresh on best practices for video and phone interpretation sessions. We are also offering free training to clients on our video and phone platform to easily transition them from on-site appointments while maintaining their high level of care.
We are also offering remote scheduling services and assistance for those businesses who will see an influx of appointments being rescheduled during this time.
Localization and Translation
Akorbi’s localization team is built with a strong global workforce that is accustomed to working at home or in remote settings. This team continues to maintain high service levels and have easily adapted to the increased need for fast turnaround and increased communications for all clients. Our global workforce is available around the clock to help all our clients maintain strong lines of communication with their members, customers, employees, and vendors throughout this pandemic.
Staffing – Workforce Solutions
Our team of recruiters are all now safely working remotely and continue to recruit and work on all open job requisitions. Understandably there are some delays in starts dates for our recruits, but our team continues to work diligently to fill job openings and provide our clients with the team they need when everyone returns to their offices. Interviews and meetings continue via video conference calls and the Akorbi recruiters remain dedicated to supplying top recruits for our clients’ consideration. Our team specializes in supporting some of the top technology companies around the world, but they are dynamic recruiters that are ready to help with any staffing need during this time.
Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
Akorbi’s BPO team is working to create safe and secure environments for the customer service agents so they can continue to provide a high level of service to our clients. The team is staying informed and compliant with all regulations in each state and country where our teams are affected to ensure the safety of our team members while maintaining operational continuity. We have experienced an increase in requests for emergency communication support and continue to have strength in multilingual customer support during this time.
